Brief description

For the basis is taken used in medical practice the design of ceramic scalpel based on zirconium dioxide. On the blade scalpel is applied based on the film microheater-doped diamond films (DLC) on our proprietary technology. Low scalpel blade is 210-230 ° C at a power of 3-5 V.  During the operation, when the incision is made at the same time brewing tissue blood vessels, which excludes a significant loss of blood as in the conventional band-pass operations. Thus, using this knife has the opportunity to carry out bloodless surgery. Due to a member of the design of a portable power system scalpel can be used even in field conditions, with practically eliminates the possibility of introducing infection during surgery. Scalpel equipped with a temperature sensor in the form of a film on the opposite side of the ceramic blade. With the help of an electronic power control maintains the temperature of the scalpel blade no matter in what kind of living tissue, it is submerged or out of it. If necessary, in order to exclude the probability that a high voltage to the scalpel, the system cannot connect to the network, i.e. work in the "point" mode - "turn-off." The power supply system is also equipped with a timer, which if necessary may be established intervals of a scalpel. The maximum voltage from the battery is 12V.


The full set includes two ceramic blade knife with a heating and temperature-sensitive elements, two handles medical polycarbonate, through which the wires to the switch connector, battery and charger, power electronics controller, timer, and finally, a case in which to store all these components.


This bloodless surgery is not new in medical practice. These operations are performed using an expensive laser instrument. Here the blood vessels just under the incision of the laser welded. However, too high cost of such a tool makes it available for only a few clinics. In addition, the laser tool can be used not for all types of fabrics for deep-abdominal operations still used an ordinary scalpel.

Brief description

Can be used for local brewing of blood vessels, in the soft tissues. The effectiveness of our development in the coagulator is enhanced by increasing the direct resistive diamond-like coating on the surface of the polycrystalline diamond with a thermal conductivity 1000Vt/m.K. Suffice milliseconds to reach temperatures of 210-230 C
